In May 2025, the Pdftools documentation included the following updates:
Added
- Pdftools SDK code samples now include links to Jupyter notebooks labeled as Open in colab buttons. Review the following code samples:
- Release notes for the Pdftools SDK versions 1.10, 1.11, and patch 1.11.1 have been added to the documentation with updated API reference links and code samples.
- The Toolbox add-on received release notes for version 1.7 and patch version 1.7.1.
- The Conversion Service documentation now includes release notes for version 6.2.0. This version came with the following documentation updates:
- The Licensing Gateway Service (LGS) full offline mode is now enabled for the Conversion Service.
- The Accessibility workflow initial documentation has been published.
- The Licensing credit count and Calculating credits sections have been added to the Pdftools SDK licensing documentation.
- The What's new documentation category you are reading now has been created to inform you about updates in the Pdftools documentation. The entries in this category have been added retrospectively since the beginning of the year 2025.
Changed
- The
latest
tag was removed from the Conversion Service Docker documentation. For more information, review version 6.2.0 release notes. - The legacy Customer portal URL was changed from

tohttps://my.pdf-tools.com/en/mypdftools/licenses-kits/
. Note that there is now a new customer portal. However, some products and license keys are only accessible in the legacy portal. You can select which customer portal to access on the Select your login page.
Fixed
- The Convert Microsoft Office files page in the Conversion Service documentation has been updated. You can now directly link to all subsections previously hidden within tabs. Additionally, wording, formatting, and various minor issues have been addressed.
- Minor fixes have been applied to the Conversion Service documentation landing page, Conversion Service in Docker guide, PDF Viewer SDK Custom implementation guides, and the Full offline mode licensing documentation.
- General deployment processes for documentation have been enhanced to ensure greater stability and accessibility.
