In March 2026, the Pdftools documentation included the following updates:
Added
- Added release notes for the Pdftools SDK version 1.15.0, the Toolbox add-on version 1.12.0, and the Pdftools SDK Shell Tool version 1.11.0.
- Published release notes for the Conversion Service version 6.10.0.
- Added release notes for the Pdftools OCR Service version 1.1.0 and version 1.1.1.
- Added release notes for PDF Viewer SDK version 5.14.0 with updated API references.
- Added forward proxy configuration for the Licensing Gateway Service (LGS) in the following pages:
- In the connected mode documentation as Configure a forward proxy section.
- In the containerized mode documentation as Configure a forward proxy section.
- Added section for LGS Full offline mode in Docker.
- Added section Activate one license key on multiple machines in the offline LGS documentation.
- Added downloadable OpenAPI specification files to the Conversion Service API references page. The Conversion Service OpenAPI specification files were improved for better compliance with the OpenAPI 3.1 standard.
- Updated Java getting started guides for the Pdftools SDK and the Toolbox add-on with separate Maven and Gradle build tool instructions.
- Updated the PDF Viewer SDK Create custom plugins guide with corrected sample code.

- Restructured the Conversion Service Simple API reference documentation. Collapsed per-profile endpoint pages into two parameterized endpoint routes with individual pre-installed connection profile pages.
- Migrated client-side redirects to server-side 301 redirects for improved SEO performance.
