PDF & PDF/A technology final release 4.6 from PDF Tools AG
Bachenbülach, February 10th, 2016
PDF Tools AG publishes a final release for its PDF and PDF/A components and solutions twice a year. The new release 4.6 of PDF Tools AG includes numerous enhancements and two new products.
The 3-Heights™ PDF Toolbox is a new API component that enables the automatic creation of PDF/A-conform documents from different sources. The PDF Toolbox can be used, for example, to compile individualized or personalized files, in order to facilitate the distribution and administration required for further processing.
Intended for the creation of standardized PDF/A files from scanned images and images received by fax, the 3-Heights™ Scan to PDF Server by PDF Tools AG is a solution that fulfills all essential requirements, such as small file sizes, the ability to search within a file and embedded metadata. The service performs all tasks that may be delegated to it by local scanning stations.
The 3-Heights™ Document Converter has been overhauled and the two licensing options (SME & Enterprise) optimized to meet the requirements of target groups. This tool by PDF Tools AG facilitates SME entry into PDF and PDF/A-conform document processes. The company-wide solution converts documents from various sources into PDF or PDF/A format via a central service, with options such as encryption and digital signage if required.
Further information about the new products and enhancements is available in the current release notes and on our website.
