Sign and secure PDF documents

Digital signatures play a crucial role in verifying the authenticity and integrity of electronic documents or messages. Applying a digital signature to a PDF document allows the reader to verify that the document has not been tampered with or altered in any way, and that is was produced by the person who claims to have produced it.

PDF documents can be secured from unauthorized access by applying encryption, and by restricting access to specific users through passwords. Applying encryption to a PDF document ensures that the contents of the document can only be read by the audience for whom the document is intended.

With the Pdftools SDK, you can create, manage, and validate all types of digital signatures and encryption in PDF documents.
