How the Pdftools Conversion service works when deployed on IONOS Cloud: Input sources can be REST API, email inbox, or watched folders. The documents then go through the Conversion Service. Output can either be secure storage (encrypted at Rest in data centers in Germany), and API response (JSON metadata and PDF), or a deliver of some sort: email, FTP, or Webhook.
