In August 2025, the Pdftools documentation included the following updates:

Added

• 14 new pages that describe custom profile references for the Pdftools OCR Service. Review Custom profiles for more details.
  • The custom profiles references are split into pages for each key INI file section.
  • You can also use predefined profiles instead of custom profiles.
• Improved the Scale the Pdftools OCR Service page with added architectural diagrams.
• Conversion Service version 6.4.1 patch release notes.
• The PDF Viewer SDK version 4.3.5 patch release.

Changed

• The links to prerequisites in the Conversion Service on Windows Server getting started guide now directly download the linked packages in the version 6 and version 5 documentation.

Fixed

• The PDF Viewer SDK version 5 getting started guide now correctly mentions the initialize method instead of incorrectly mentioning init in code snippets. This fix has been made in the Initialize the viewer section.
• Minor improvements and typo fixes in the Pdftools OCR Service documentation area.
• In the legacy products, the Batch Stamp Tool now correctly links to the Toolbox add-on as its replacement.
• Fixed Conversion Service LTS version 4 API documentation generation issues.
• Improvements in the Offline license configuration section.
• Improved llms.txt and llms-full.txt.
• The documentation website is performing better now due to dependency improvements.
