Pre-installed on XP and later, provided by PDF Tools for Windows 2000 on the Download Page: www.pdf-tools.com/pdf/Support/Downloads.aspx


Version 2.0 or higher (only required when using the .NET interface of an API)

PDF Tools’ software is compiled on the following platforms. The indicated version represents the minimum version the deployment computer must have installed in order to run the PDF Tools software.

The number of the version is intentionally kept low. As a result of that all platforms with a higher version are supported due to backwards compatibility of the platform itself.

Runtime support


GNU Shared libraries are required for all API products, as well as for all 64 bit products. They can be downloaded from www.pdf-tools.com/pdf/Support/Downloads.aspx
