PDF/A compliant Products

PDF Tools AG is proud to offer a complete line of PDF/A-compliant tools for the creation and validation of PDF/A documents in accordance with the ISO Standard 19005. The following products can be used to ensure that your archived files are reproducible in the long-term:
 
3-Heights™ PDF Producer
  • The 3-Heights™ PDF Producer is a genuine GDI printer driver that generates PDF and PDF/A compliant documents from virtually any Windows application.

  • The Producer can be used with both client- and server-side applications and offers parallel creation.

  • The 3-Heights™ PDF Producer also offers sychronous generation, so your Windows application knows when the generation process is completed.

    • 3-Heights™ PDF Viewer
  • The 3-Heights™ PDF Viewer is a fully PDF/A-compliant PDF viewer. It fulfils all requirements of the ISO standard for compliantly displaying PDF/A documents.

  • The 3-Heights™ PDF Viewer Pro also displays image files (TIFF, JPEG, etc.) and can print the currently viewed file.

    • 3-Heights™ PDF Printer
  • The 3-Heights™ PDF Printer is unique in its ability to print PDF/A files compliantly.

  • A complete set of of printing options (e.g. select tray, select printer, duplex printing etc.) is available.

  • The Pro version allows you to add watermarks to the printed documents.

    3-Heights™ PDF Validator
  • The 3-Heights™ PDF Validator can determine if a PDF document or an entire PDF archive is PDF/A compliant.

  • For converting a TIFF archive into PDF/A, the Validator provides the optimal quality assurance check that can be built directly into the conversion process.

  • Individual company requirements beyond the PDF/A standard can also be verified during the analysis process.

    • 3-Heights™ Image to PDF Converter
  • The 3-Heights™ Image to PDF Converter converts images (TIFF, JPEG etc.) into PDF documents.

  • Different versions of PDF, including PDF/A, can be selected for the output file.

  • The converter can also convert image files into image files of a different format, and split and merge multi-page files

    • 3-Heights™ PDF to PDF/A Converter
  • The 3-Heights™ PDF to PDF/A Converter converts all versions of PDF documents to the PDF/A format.

  • PDF/A compliant digital signatures can also be applied during the conversion process.

  • The tool first analyzes the input file. Afterwards, the file will be converted to the highest possible conformance level. In the conversion process, for example missing fonts are embedded and device dependent color spaces are replaced by predefined ICC color profiles. Both document structure information and metadata is retained. The file is reformatted during the conversion process and all repairs are carried out where success can be guaranteed.
