Specification requirements stated that the PDF Viewer must be fully integrable in the StorM-Touch solution. This would increase the quality, availability and therefore the user-friendliness of user manuals. The necessity of an isolated viewer application should be omitted to provide a cost-effective, easily implementable solution.

The API version (programming interface) of the 3-Heights® PDF Viewer enabled full integration of viewer functionality in the StorM-Touch solution. Thus, the viewer is entirely controllable through the StorM-Touch application and is characterized by constant runtime behavior. The necessity of an additional, cost-causing viewer application no longer applies.
