The 3-Heights™ Document Converter Service is a multifunctional tool for the automatic conversion of many formats to PDF and PDF/A (incl. digital signature). It is expressly suitable for inbox processing and long-term archiving of e-mails (incl. attachments) and Office documents. Impressive are its universal applicability (formats, interfaces), its easy deployment and activation in the network as well as its scalability and performance. As a ready-to-use solution, it provides important functionalities for the entire document workflow.
In the input range the 3-Heights™ Document Converter Service converts e.g. e-mails including their attachments to a single PDF or PDF/A-Document. All commonly used image formats can also be converted and a direct Twain-Interface for scanners (incl. OCR)* is available. It is also possible to convert MS Office and Open Office Documents, for example for sending to third parties or for long-term archiving.
This variety of formats (which is extendable thanks to plug-ins) allows secure input processing and subsequent processing as well as long-term archiving in PDF or PDF/A Format (ISO 19005-1). The optional digital signature results in the highest degree of security.
WINDOWS SERVICE, COMMAND LINE TOOL, API, ETC.: The 3-Heights™ Document Converter Service can be configured as a “traditional” Windows service with watched folders, as Command Line tool for batch processing, as shell extension for Windows Explorer or even as a web service. It also contains an API. The parameters required for processing are easy to configure. Thanks to its scalable, multi-tier architecture and its robustness, it is suitable for all processing volumes and company sizes.
PRICING/LICENSING: For each "dispatcher" (see picture above), one "server" license is needed. 1'000 processed "pages per day" (30'000 per month) are included in each server license. Additional "pages per day" can be bought in packages of 1'000 pages per day (equivalent to 30'000 per month) each. A free evaluation version can be downloaded below.
